MECONIAL AMNIOTIC FLUID.- It is a frequent disorder associated with an increased risk of maternal and neonatal mortality, it includes meconium aspiration syndrome and its sequelae, respiratory depression and acidosis. Meconium is a sterile mixture of numerous chemical compounds including glycoproteins, swallowed vernix, gastrointestinal secretions, bile, pancreatic enzymes, plasma proteins; minerals and lipids, mucopolysaccharides constitute 80% of meconium.

EL LIQUIDO AMNIÓTICO MECONIAL.-Es un desorden frecuente asociado  con un aumento en el riesgo de mortalidad  materno y neonatal ,incluye el síndrome de aspiración meconial  y sus secuelas , depresión respiratoria y acidosis.Meconio es una mezcla  esteril de numerosos  compuestos químicos  que incluyen glicoproteínas , vernix deglutido , secreciones gastrointestinales , bilis ,enzimas pancreáticas  proteínas plasmáticas  ;minerales y lípidos, los mucopolisacáridos constituyen el 80%del meconio.
